Childcare SUBSIDY (CCS) Childcare Subsidy is a means-tested subsidy paid directly to the service as a fee reduction. There are 3 factors that will determine a family’s level of Childcare Subsidy, which include:
Transitioning to Childcare Subsidy requires families to provide information and confirm current details by using your Centrelink online account through myGov. Here you will be asked to provide your combined family income estimate for the financial year, hours of recognised activity including work, training, study and volunteering and the type of Childcare your family uses.
It is now a CCS requirement that any additional or casual days be completed in writing.
When all the above steps are completed, Centrelink will assess your information and advise you of your fee subsidy percentage, which is used to calculate how much of the full fee you will need to pay.
Until you provide the service with your and your child’s Customer Reference Numbers, and your income has been assessed by Centrelink you will be required to pay full fees.
Consistency and continuity are vital components of quality care. We achieve this through a stable educator roster, ensuring children feel safe and secure in their environment to explore and learn. Our rosters are designed to maintain consistency for you and your child. Any changes due to educator absences or holidays will be communicated to you.
Confidentiality is of paramount importance in our service. All information provided by you, including addresses, phone numbers, and custody details, is accessed only by the Nominated Supervisor and the educators responsible for your child’s care.
Your information will never be shared without your consent. All educators and staff are bound by a strict privacy and confidentiality policy, as well as a confidentiality clause in their contracts.
