The Child Care Subsidy is a means-tested subsidy paid directly to our service as a reduction on your fees - so rather than paying the full amount and claiming it back, the subsidy is simply factored into what you pay us. Three main factors determine how much subsidy your family receives:
To move onto the Child Care Subsidy, you'll need to confirm your details through your Centrelink online account via myGov. You'll be asked for your combined family income estimate for the financial year, your hours of recognised activity (this includes work, training, study, and volunteering), and the type of child care your family uses.
It's also now a CCS requirement that any additional or casual care days be requested in writing.
Once you've completed these steps, Centrelink will assess your information and let you know your fee subsidy percentage - this is what determines how much of the full fee you'll need to pay.
Until you've provided us with your and your child's Customer Reference Numbers, and Centrelink has assessed your income, you'll be charged full fees in the meantime.

We maintain a stable educator roster, so your child feels genuinely safe and secure with familiar faces, day after day. If an educator is ever away or on leave, we'll always let you know. Your family's privacy matters to us. Every piece of information you provide - including addresses, phone numbers, and custody arrangements - is only ever accessed by your child's Nominated Supervisor and the educators directly responsible for their care.
Your information is never shared without your consent. Every educator and staff member is bound by a strict privacy and confidentiality policy, backed by a confidentiality clause in their employment contract.
