Upon arrival, families are required to sign their child in and ensure a smooth handover to educators. This time allows children to settle in comfortably and engage in morning play. A day in our service offers a detailed look at how each day begins and flows at our play-school.
This is a government regulation. Should someone other than yourself be collecting your child from play-school, please inform us, and, if the person has not been to the service previously, ask them to carry some form of ID – a driver’s licence is perfect. If we have not been informed that someone else is collecting your child, we will contact you for permission to release your child into the care of another person.
Our play-school has a legal obligation to record all absences of children who are in receipt of government fee support benefits within the service. If your child has been absent and you receive a government fee support benefit, you have a legal requirement to notify the service of the reason for each absence.
Notify the service if your child is going to be absent; and state the reason why your child is absent e.g. Illness etc.
